Security

Effective July 2026

How we protect your documents. TranslateX is sold to governments and enterprises, and the security model reflects that.

In transit and at rest

All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Documents, translations, glossaries, and translation memories are stored on managed infrastructure with encryption at rest.

Access control

  • Documents are private to their workspace; access follows roles (admin, manager, translator, reviewer, viewer).
  • Enterprise sign-in supports LDAP and Active Directory, with multi-factor authentication (TOTP).
  • Audit logs record who did what, and can be exported to your SIEM.

Your data is not training data

Our AI is never trained on your documents. Lisan builds and hosts its own translation models; enterprise deployments can run them entirely inside your network.

Deployment options

Three ways to run TranslateX, matched to your data policies:

  • Our cloud: the default, fastest way to start.
  • Sovereign cloud: hosted in your national or regional cloud for data residency.
  • On-premises: the entire pipeline, translation model included, running on your own servers inside your network, with documented air-gapped installs. Nothing leaves it. This is a real, engineered deployment path, not a special request.

See security & on-prem for the full picture, or talk to us about your requirements.
